The view became more exceptional as we noticed more things happening in the bay: outrigger canoe and regular canoe races, sailboat races, surfers, foil (motorized surfboard) surfers, beach volleyball games, and large cruise ships (two during the week we were there). This location is in the flight path of the helicopter excursions to Kauai’s highlights so expect noise in the morning. No worries about being awakened by them. The roosters which are everywhere on the island will awaken you much earlier than when the helicopters begin flying. The unit has been partially upgraded within the past few years so that the kitchen seemed more modern than the rest of the unit although there was NO dishwasher. There were lots of spices and condiments (including olive and sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey), rice, and oatmeal. The shower stall was nicely tiled and the “wood” floor relatively new. The windows/doors looking out onto the patio were relatively new (mini blinds inside double pane glass).

Small beach on the property which is nice if you want to enjoy without having to drive to a bigger beach. Beautiful views from our condo. The place was nicely equipped (blender, beach chairs, coolers etc). The pool is very nice to have when you want to freshen up on those very hot and humid days. Very walkable with a small shopping center, restaurants and a market around,there is also a safeway a little further convenient for groceries. It is also very well situated to go both on the north and west shore of the island to see all the beautiful things that the Kauai island has to offer. We very much enjoyed the two bedroom unit. Spacious and perfect for our family, every had their space and we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor living spaces

The location was exceptional. Easy to walk to restaurants the Little Fish Coffee Company and more! Every day we were able to walk over and say good morning and goodnight to the turtles on the beach. Perfect amenities for needing a place to sleep before continuing on to your next daytime adventure!

It was a quaint little cottage. Clean. We didn't use the kitchen much but it had all the necessities . Friendly clerk (and cat, Mango) that checked us in. It might not have all the bells and whistles like the fancy resorts but you can't beat it for the price.
We stayed in a cottage and it worked very well for the 3 of us with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. It is 5 minutes from the airport and a 3 minute walk to a wonderful brew pub. Nice old school decor as well.
A highlight to our vacation! The rooms are cozy, very clean and quiet. The tropical ambiance is so refreshing. Staff is very personable, kind and want to make your stay enjoyable. Ron took time to share Kauai's history with us, giving us a new outlook on everywhere we have and will be visiting. We booked a cottage for our family of 4 for one night for convenience to the airport for an early morning flight. It has a full kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. It is an older property, but it is a very clean and quaint beach cottage. Great value and space for a family or small group. Location is very convenient to the airport.
WEll we were upgraded because original room's AC went on the fritz. The upgraded cottage was great. Ample room, better TV, Full kitchen, etc. So our experience was exceptional.
