The hosts were incredibly helpful and it was obvious they put a lot into our stay. Our rooms were clean, the bed was sooo comfortable, breakfast was delicious (all homemade or locally sourced). We loved our stay.
A good location for a relaxing stay in Covilhã, Tranca da Barriga - Casa do Vinho by Quinta De São Tiago is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain.

This bed and breakfast is very special. Several cozy, spacious rooms are set next to a beautiful river in the peaceful village of Sandomil. This charming bed and breakfast is where we always stay in this area because you are instantly relaxed and in vacation mode the moment you step foot on the property. This hotel is run by a lovely couple that are very hands on to your needs, very friendly and helpful to give you recommendations on restaurants, hikes and things to see in the area. They also make an amazing breakfast each morning and will make an amazing gourmet dinner upon request. The rooms are decorated with such personal touches and the views and tranquility of grapes, mountains and river views, you could sit and relax on a swing or lounge chair outside the room for hours. Sunsets with a glass of wine are amazing there also. I would highly recommend this!!

Nuno was a friendly, knowledgeable host who answered my many questions about the region and even took the time to give me a walking tour of Sabugueiro. The lodging itself was quiet, warm, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had some regional specialties, including a homemade pumpkin jam that was absolutely delicious. Sambuc'asa is in a small town in the mountains, with lots of places to walk, so it's perfect for nature lovers.

This is a place we will definitely return to! it is ideal for those who are looking for a little silence. You don’t have to go anywhere and spend the whole day there. we were with two children, the rooms have board games, you can go kayaking, or be in the pool all day!
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
The property is very cozy and clean. There is perfect view, the house is very stylish and modern. The owner of apartment is very kind and hospitable. Perfect location, price and amazing view.

The house is nicely located, having the sun rays the whole morning and an amazing view! And being able to have that view in the comfort of a fireplace was icing on the cake. We loved the breakfast, with great cheese and bread diversity. The staff was also really nice and helped us with restaurant recommendations. Also, being able to run the fireplace ourselves was really nice, we felt home!
The breakfast was excecional, prepared by our host Teresa. The location is great with a fantastic view and very close to the vila of Unhais da Serra. Very good place to rest, to have a romantic weekend, or just to have fun with friends and family.
We will return for sure!! ;)

The location is very good, in a beautiful scenario in the Serra da Estrela National Park.
Me and my boyfriend stayed there for one night and we fell in love with the place. The views of the mountain are stunning. The house is really cozy and inviting, especially with the fireplace on during the cold winter days. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, spices, tea, coffee and anything you may need. We stayed in the suite with the bathtub and everything was perfect, I fully recommend:)
