An absolutely lovely couple own the property and were very accommodating and friendly. They met us when we arrived and explained the accommodations and information of the area. This alone would have us return. The homemade breakfast baskets they brought us every morning were delicious with lots of variety and quantity. The apartment and kitchen are well appointed with sufficient necessities, and parking is available across the street. The central location of this apartment is convenient to travel to all coasts of the island. A gem of a place!

The house is big and very pleasant. Ribeira Grande is a wonderful city to be in. It has two nice beaches, one of which, Areal de Santa Barbara, is probably one of the most beautiful in the whole island. There are also several nice restaurants to go to nearby. Excellent location right on a beautiful beach with amazing views. The town was centrally located to explore all of Sao Miguel. Very spacious house with all of the amenities you could ask for. The hosts were very responsive, we had a power outage and they helped us resolve it within minutes. Very good value, I would definitely stay here again.
