A beautiful apartment with gorgeous views. Our host was very helpful and responsive and left us a lot of great food. This was very helpful as it was off season and nowhere close by to eat or get food. The bed was comfortable. Also a beautiful place to hike. So peaceful. We loved our stay there.

We must have stayed in just part of the house as we only had 2 small bedrooms (the listing for this accomm now says it is 4 bedrooms). If you come in Summer and can make use of the balcony and outdoor relaxation area at the side of the house this would make a fabulous retreat. The views are amazing as the accommodation is in the middle of the mountains and the kitchen is amazingly well equipped.

This is a place we will definitely return to! it is ideal for those who are looking for a little silence. You don’t have to go anywhere and spend the whole day there. we were with two children, the rooms have board games, you can go kayaking, or be in the pool all day!

I liked staying in a home with an interesting history filled with antiques and memorabilia.
It is not a modern hotel like facility and might not be everyone’s cup of tea but if you like history and tradition you will love it. The owner could not have been more accommodating.

They left us a voucher for the coffee shop and wine house across the street, which has excellent prices.
They are very pet friendly, so taking our dog was not an issue.
They made themselves available for us to contact if anything went wrong.

Our stay was simply memorable. The room with a beautiful view was very warm and cosy despite the cold outside. Apart from the warmth and attentiveness from the host, there are many details to appreciate. These include Portuguese laced curtains, crochet and embroidered bed linen; or the Portuguese breakfast with homemade marmalades and jams, cheese and Portuguese bread. There is also an interesting historical background to the building contributing to this quaint unique picturesque village.
The accommodation offered a charming stay in the historical village of Piodão, boasting an incredible location for sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable, having a beautiful mountain view. Furthermore, the staff exhibited good hospitality.
Nestled in this picturesque village, the hotel presents an idyllic retreat, harmoniously blending with the historic charm of the surroundings. The traditional decoration of Casa de Padaria is a highlight in itself. Cleanliness is paramount at Casa de Padaria, and it shows. The room was impeccably maintained, with every corner spotless and well-organized. Breakfast at Casa de Padaria was another delightful experience.
Comfortable (communicating) rooms with good beds and great view on Piodao and the surroundings. Excellent wifi. Very friendly staff. Large breakfast buffet and also good food in the restaurant. Nice swimming pool. Games available for the children. Cosy bar. Private parking. Enjoyable walk to town
We spent a night in this wonderful and cosy house, typical and traditional in the furniture and in the atmosphere. The lady hosting us was very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was rich and delicious, with typical home-made local products! Very much suggested!
Breakfast was wonderful! Local selection of cheese and meats, it was a highlight of the stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very authentic and cozy place.
It has a very homey feeling, the decoration is super charming, the linen of high quality and the service is topnotch, very welcoming. The view of the room was breathtaking, for the mountains and city!
