Excellent villa with lovely pool and views. Ours hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We loved having fresh produce to pick and wine to buy from the vineyard and grounds that surrounded us. A beautiful part of Portugal without lots of tourists but with a car still lots to see and do.

Great location, good facilities, genuine local staff and lot´s of privacy for guests. We could use the bbq facilities and pick fresh fruits from trees around the house and farm, also been gifted with two bottles of local Green wine by Fernando.

These beautifully restored bungalows are a delight, unless there are other guests with children. The pool is only 7 metres from the “private” terrace. The noise of screening kids makes it impossible to enjoy the natural beauty of this lovely place.
But the river is stunning and the possibilities for swimming are endless. A lovely place marred only by the close proximity of noisey children.
The levada walk PR2 is wonderful as is the bike ride from Celo Rico
The setting is great but the attention to detail is lavking
Beautiful restored stone houses with well cared surroundings. The property is located in a small village with wonderful mountain sightseeings, lots of nature and vineyards. Very clean and tidy house with everything needed for a week retreat. We were complimented with a tour and a incredible self made wine. Our dog loved it too. Fernando is a lovely host.
Location is great!! The view from our cabin (middle one-Sunrise) on the river is amazing. The walk down to the beach is short and gets you to an amazing place!! Magical to swim in the river.

All journeys begin with the first step, a step taken on your doorstep. And then you can find a beach located by the river, a flowery meadow, a charming stone bridge, and a shady forest. All this is just a stone's throw from Casa Senhor da Ponte.

We were arriving after closing hours and staff made sure to stay late until we arrived. Gave great recommendations for food in town and let us stay a bit later in morning. We stayed in the chalet and was one of the most cozy places we've ever stayed with gorgeus view in morning... Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much
Everything was great! Daniel, the host, was very welcoming and friendly and made our stay amazing. The house is very comfortable and cosy, nicely decorated, and it feels like home. We ended our stay with fresh orange juice and coffee offered by Daniel. Great experience!
Everything was excellent! Isabel and Carlos received us very well, and we are thankful for the warm reception. The bungalow is cozy and perfect, it has everything we needed.
