You will feel away from the beloved Douro area but still very closed by car throught lovely roads
The owners are very discret so that you feel at home. We had the house above the river perfect fot two with everything you need for cooking and sleeping like babys with the river sound and thick stone walls...amazing!
Opposite of the gate, there is a nice path along the river for walking jogging.

one of the most beautiful farmstays we ever stayed at. the surrounding nature was amazing. we really enjoyed the breakfast and also made well use of the jacuzzi in the spa area. the staff is very helpful and did their best to advise us on activities in the area.

The incredible view! House was spacious and very clean. Even the bedding was of great quality. Kitchen has a lot of utensils. And when we needed something, Sonia drove by to supply us immediately. We also made use of the BBQ grill. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Very friendly owner who really goes an extra mile for her guests to feel as comfortable as possible. Very nice house with a refreshing swimming pool, surrounded by romantic vineyards. Excellent breakfast with local produce. Great location, optimal starting position to explore the Douro valley.
Lovely old house beautifully restored on a large property. It felt like we were staying in a small castle.

We read earlier reviews about the lack of restaurants near Lalim so we advance booked a dinner at the hotel. It was terrific, including the wine and the dessert.
Staff were very friendly.
Lalim is a bit off the beaten path and not on the Duoro, so this location may not be for everyone. We found the small town charming.
Everything was fabulous, couldn’t do enough for us! Loved the guided tour of museum,
we had only 1 night (unfortunately) in the 2 bedroom cottage. Owner lit fire for us which made it even more cosy! breakfast was superb!
