The breakfast was wonderful and fresh; eggs, ,fruit, bread, sliced meat and cheese, cake and yogurt. All served to you with juice and coffee at an outside table overlooking the gardens and fields a nice start to your day. So much breakie that there was plenty to save for lunch which was encouraging making a very pleasant 🥘 meal

This place is amazing: serenity, clean and cozy rooms, beautiful and relaxing lounge, exceptional staff. Beautiful surroundings of the village and the Bordeira beach make this place perfect for romantic gateaway or a rest day for Rota Vicentina hikers!
This place was charming. The staff was amicable, the room was nice and cozy, and the whole place was calm and relaxing. They made fresh breakfast every day, which was delicious. Wifi works well, and bikes can be borrowed for free if desired. Each room has access to the terraces, from which one can see the mountains. There are plenty of outdoor sitting areas, a shared "living room/kitchen", fireplaces, and a swimming pool, which everyone can use in summer.
The lodge is conveniently positioned in the centre of the little town,very quiet , it's clean, our room was sunny and nicely decorated,the owners tried to make it as cosy as possible, there is a big kitchen and one load of washing is included but there is no tumble drier so if the weather is not good your clothes will not dry overnight.The owner speaks a little bit of English.
Cozy place in Carrapateira while hiking the rota vicentina. There is a shortcut from the Lodge to the village center so it's very easy to go out or to the supermarket. Carrapateira is a magic small village! Definitely recommend staying here.
