The cliff of Prazeres is one of the nicest spots of the island, overlooking the coast from the large balcony facing west for the sunset is simply fantastic. Easy access to various hiking trails. Small pool and simple sauna are nothing extraordinary but great to relax after a day's hike. I also enjoyed that they have a indoor fireplace in the library where you can sit with a glass of whiskey from the bar. Very friendly staff. Great value for money (I traveled in low season)
Very cozy and peaceful cottage on the top of a hill. if you like quietness and solitude this is a place to be. The island has generally great infrastructure and roads, so for us it was not a problem to drive around even if the place is quite remote. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you may need. View from the terrace is beautiful. We had a very warm and friendly welcome by Garry on the Christmas Eve. Thank you for everything, we loved our stay and hope to come again!
A charming historical 16th century house, surrounded by newly built cottages on the large property. We stayed in a cottage and it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The view was gorgeous, especially at night. We had a great time walking around the property and enjoying the vineries and nature that surrounds the place. The manager was very friendly, caring and accommodating.
Big apartment really cosy and comfortable, staff friendly and go above any expectations, the food at the restaurant are excellent and the wine really good everythi g from local. Nice fireplace, swimming pool and view from the restaurants. Even the breakfast was really good and when my husband asked for hot Chocolat the first morning they didn't have but but the next morning they went by some for him. They did really care about us and our stay, it was a wonderful time and we wish we could stay longer!
