Amazing location. Quiet surrounding. Just 2-3 min walk to Sim Sim Hill trailhead. Owner is very responsive. House is spacious and clean with all the home amenities in good, working condition. There is also Coway water dispenser. The car porch is very huge too.

The location for the airport and Sepilok Orangutan Sanctary was good. Other than that, there's not much in the surrounding area. The property had Netflix.

We spent 2 nights with family and friends. We had two rooms in the cottage. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help and advise. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. They serve beer and wine. The location is a 10-minute walk to the river, which was no problem. A very nice walk through the village, the locals are all very friendly, greeting, smiling. We had a great time.
Everything was very good, nice staff, they waited with dinner for us until around 9pm, perfectly organized river cruises. Nice, cozy wooden houses. Remember it’s not 4 star hotel. Good time spend close to nature.

Had everything we needed and more in the most stunning location. The lodge was decorated beautifully and the building itself was in keeping with the natural surroundings. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were wonderful. Wished we could have stayed longer.
A very cosy house, peaceful location. It met all our expectations. It's a bit further away from the center, but close to Sepilok and the airport. There is a big supermarket 20-minut walk away, but you can get Grab easily. The owner is very kind and helpful.
Food was absolutely delicious. My daughter and I don't eat sea food and I'm GF and there were always special meals prepared for us.
The guide who took us on cruises was just excellent. He knew a lot about animals and tried really hard to find as many as he could.
Rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable, the lodge is quite well mantained. There's a beautiful pond and a nice hiking trail.
Good enough location and property. . Food was good but served lukewarm as the other travellers say here. A range of activities to keep busy and Carol (I think his name was) was a good and charming guide. He had his own style - quite chilled but knowledgeable. We saw proboscis monkeys, hornbills, macaques and a baby croc. Even spotted pygmy elephants on the way to the lodge.

* We recommend the driver Eddie (+60 117 117 117 8), he knows the lodge very well but is not from there.

The lodge is very isolated in the jungle, a short walk from the kinabatangan river. The lodge offers lunch and dinner for RM35 as there is no other food places around. The lodge is very homely place and they also offers activities like hikes, boat rides and night walks. We spent the whole time doing activities with them. The area is ideal for wildlife watching. Asslan was an amazing guide! He spotted everything for us and provided cool infos. The little chalets are very comfy - good bedding, hot water, very cosy!
We had a great stay here. Our chalet was nice and cozy and the bathroom was spotless! It was so refreshing to wake up to the sound of cicadas outside your window. Bryan and Siti were very helpful and made us feel at home. They went out of their way to meet our dietary requirements for our meals.
Tour activities can be booked at the lodge upon arrival. It was nice to meet other travellers as well at the communal dining area. All-in, we had a really great time here!
