This small apartment is tastefully decorated and fully furnished with all kinds of conveniences for travelers. It exceeded our expectations. We were only overnight and did not use the kitchen but it looked well stocked with equipment, also there is a washing machine, ironing board and iron. It was very clean. The sofa and bed are comfortable. The host has left LOTS of information for travelers including a map of the historic area of Trapani and other brochures & maps on the greater area, information on ferries, parking, restaurants…
The location is on the edge of the historic district and near the ferry port. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and easy walking to enjoy the historic district attractions. You enter the apartment from the street directly into the living room (ground floor). We felt safe walking around but of course it’s a city so you keep your eyes open.
The host was easy to communicate with, responsive, and helpful. Kindly, he texted us in English. Thank you!
The host texted a map in advance which clearly showed the streets with free parking, resident only parking and paid parking. We were able to use the closest free parking for 1 night which was about 3-5 min walk to the apt. However on both sides of that street there were signs stating that street cleaning happens 5:30-8:30 am from Mon-Thurs (one side) or Tues-Fri. (other side). Although honestly it didn’t look like the street had been cleaned in months (there was a lot of trash and debris), we wouldn’t take a chance to park there overnight on those days. The other free parking is a couple more streets away, we didn’t go there. I don’t know if you can park overnight on the paid parking streets (pay with an app or at the machine). There is a parking garage in the port area called Multipiano. It’s further to the apt. We left our car there to go to the Egadi Islands. It’s EUR 10/day after 1 Oct but EUR 25/day before that (high season).

We wanted to try the experience of an Italian agriturismo , but without being isolated in some remote countryside. This place, right outside of Trapani, made it very convenient to explore the town and surroundings, while lodging in a beautiful country environment, complete with farm animals and greenhouses bursting with zucchine and eggplants. The star of the establishment is the restaurant, always busy with both guests and locals. The food is divine, notably the veal steak is a memorable treat. A shoutout to handsome Angelo, waiter extraordinaire…Lodging comes in a range of differently priced room types, some more spartan than others, opt for the better category.

We spent 4 nights here, great spot for exploring the area. Nice area to explore on foot and the apartment was very spacious. The host and her mom were very welcoming and available. Lots of restaurants close by and an easy walk out to the water. We really appreciate the hospitality.
Worth mentioning that we did not cook at home other than morning coffee but the kitchen is set up well if you choose to stay in and have a meal.

A lovely, continental beakfast was served, with homemade pasteries. The breakfast room is really pleasant and the staff very attentiv and accommodating. The building belongs to the historic center and has been elegantly restored. The b&b Secret is close to everything, the highlights of Trapani´s cultura heritage, the railway station, pharmacy, cafès and shops.
Our stay at this apartment was very nice. Kitchen was fully equipped, bedroom cozy, the bathroom is clean. Also the location is very good, it provided easy access to the town’s charming streets, historical landmarks and restaurants. The hosts was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location was superb, right in the hub of everything we wanted. Enzo was the perfect host and the fruit basket was wonderful. The apartment is cozy but so charming.
A charming heritage villa, set in large gardens and recently renovated to a high standard. Rooms spotlessly clean, as was the pool. A very nice breakfast got each day off to a good start. Rosa-Maria and her family were thoroughly welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home from the outset.
