The staff at the Agriturismo Il Cucchiaio di Legno are second to none. They provided answers to all our questions and greatly facilitated in our having a most pleasurable stay. Also, their breakfasts are a great way to start the day. They provided for a nice variety, were fresh, and were delicious. Additionally, the rooms were impeccably clean and could not have been nicer. Lastly, the pool and sauna were fabulous touches!

It is situated on a medieval street and we felt like we were locals. The apartment is comfortable and has many personal touches. Cinzia has taken a lot of care to be sure you are comfortable. She is available with any questions.

We stayed only one night, but we loved the place. It is a nice old house in a garden, with special atmosphere. Very friendly hosts, good breakfast with local products. Nice cats and a sweet little dog. Easy parking just near the property.

I like everything! Extremely clean location (the cleanest rented property I’ve ever visited), fantastic view from the balcony, super nice and responsive owner, everything you might need on place or you can ask (we asked about heating and an iron- both we get in a minute).
A few tips: to get here you should be enough confident driver; location is mountainous so even on hot days better to have a sweater for a comfort; visit Madonna del Sasso in 600 meters / a few minutes drive - view just breathtaking!

I really liked how friendly the owner and the host were. The house has a lovely fireplace and the location is beautiful. Two bathrooms (in one a toilet, sink and bath, and in the other a toilet sink and shower). The kitchen is small but has everything you want/need.
We had a wonderful time (though unfortunately short) at cucchiaio di legno. Place was lovely, nice room with cute cosy balcony, amazing breakfast with so many gluten free/dairy free options (the home made almond cake was to die for!)!
The spa was such a nice treat, with sauna, jacuzzi, fire pit and relax room.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Finally, we bought the mead and it was delicious!

Cosy, comfy, views are amazing. Carla messaged us daily with ideas of things to do. We woke up to the sunrising onto the balcony of our bedroom with a view across the lake. Had Aircon but didn’t need it in April. Walked to the town centre along the lakeside path outside of the property.
An idyllic spot with welcoming staff, spotless rooms, and a balcony overlooking the square. Loved the elevator access to street level, and perfect proximity to the restaurants we wanted to explore.
Incredible location and absolutely perfect hotel ! Made our dream holiday come true! Wonderful tub and bathroom fit for a queen but tucked into a cozy romantic little room overlooking the lake. Simply spectacular !
Our accommodation was very comfortable. We were able to have breakfast outside when weather permitted. Breakfast was very substantial. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for our stay. San Giulio is a perfectly romantic place to be. Zizzihome is a charming home and we so enjoyed our stay. The railway station is nearby so travel to Zizzihome, San Giulio is easy, even without a car. We loved the walk into the town and the small shops and café culture by the lake.
Well, First of all, I would like to thank you for an awesome stay, we had at your hotel. The location of the hotel was quite stunning. The room we had was indeed amazing, very cozy, very comfy, the hot tub was awesome as well as the balcony with the view over the square and mountains. The breakfast was quite nice too. Very delicious home-made types of food were offered to us. We had an amazing experience in this Hotel and in Orta San Giuglio as well. We will definetely be back next year.
