This is a classic house. Very well kept and clean with a nice garden to enjoy in the evenings. There's a small nearby town where they do good pizza. Host was very helpful in making sure we had what we needed for our stay.

Me and my friend had a lovely stay! The owner was really helpful and kind. He even picked us up from the station and helped us with renting a scooter. It was really nice to have good contact with the owner. The view is amazing and every morning we woke up in calmness and had breakfast with beautiful view. You can spend a whole day ( if not a week) just relaxing at the house and swim in the swimming pool. If you want to have a relaxing holiday this is definitely the place to be. We will come back!!

Exceptional property, beautifully finished and very welcoming, feels like a home. It has everything you need for your stay, a very well catered kitchen, access to the garden, with a hot tub, lovely linen and towels, air-conditioning, everything works really well. But it's the atmosphere created here that gives this space something special, definitely designed by an architect as it feels, smells, and works extremely well.
The hosts are great at keeping in touch via WhatsApp, we are a British family, so this is very useful as our Italian is none!
It is 25 minutes from the airport and near Lake Maggiore, guests would need a car as it is not easily accessible via public transport. We were guests here in Summer 24.

The house was simple and very comfortable, there was everything I needed from sleeping to cooking. It was clean. Every window had a fly mesh, so all mosquitos had to stay outside while I kept windows open at night. I liked the balcony for my morning coffee (coffee was very tasty! 😍) and some work with my laptop. The communication with the host was easy with no waiting time for an answer. Basically I'm happy and can recommend it to others 👍
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
An outstanding very modern villa with everything you need for a great stay. Floor heating and a nice fireplace for the winter, and an AC for the summer.

Our group of six had an amazing stay at Cascina Canée, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Tucked away by Lake Maggiore, this village retreat is a captivating blend of hospitality and cuisine.
From the start, Fabio and Giovanna, our gracious hosts, made us feel right at home.
The three bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, each with its own en suite bathroom and private entrance.

We were very nicely welcomed by Giovanna and Fabio who made us feel at home. The building has been very well restored and furnished, giving a very good blend between the original old building and modern additions. A super view.
Despite arriving too late for the dinner Fabio prepared us a delicious pasta dish. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, homemade cake and more.
Nice countryside location, not too far from Angera and very friendly welcome. Also a nice terrace on the first floor, nice bathroom. Alessandra really did everything to help us.
Fabio and Giovanna’s boutique hotel in Angera is exceptional, being ideally located to explore Lake Maggiore with its authentic towns and villages and for venturing further afield to Lake Como, Lake Varese, Milan and the epic drive to Mottarone. The hotel has a romantic view towards Rocco Borromea castle and towards the lake while its rooms are excellently appointed. Our hosts were personable and engaging and no query was too much trouble.
