The apartment is large, newly renovated and perfectly equipped, located in a small village which allows you to experience authentic Sicilian life. Breakfast was abundant and provided according to our wishes.
What set this stay apart from other places we stayed during our 2 weeks in Sicily was the hospitality of our hosts Enza & Stefano. We had the pleasure to be welcomed to their summer home for a complimentary aperitif with a 360 degrees view over the hills with Mt. Etna in the distance. Enza gave our 12 yo daughter the opportunity to make bread, pizza and mbugliate together, an experience she won't forget. We shared dinner with their friends making us feel long term friends too. Location in Via Duomo close to the Cathedral. Quiet at night and very convenient for car parking as the road is not in the ZTL area! There is a lovely pizzeria one minute walk from the apartment and a lovely view of the city from the Duomo. Clean and neat apartment with good communication from the host Giuseppe. Beds for us and our two kids. This is a compact apartment which is very atmospheric as it belonged to the host’s family in the past, so it has lovely family and local pictures. Giuseppe provided free milk, water, and other goodies which was much appreciated by the family. Wifi was not very good. Hot water in the shower although you need to wait if more than two people are using it in quick succession as the hot water runs out because of the small geyser! There is a washing machine to use and space off the balcony to dry the clothes. Host helped to find us a free parking spot right next to the apartment and met us on arrival and was very helpful with recommendations. Although this road is not located in a ZTL area, there are bits of city centre Agrigento that are ZTL so you need to very careful you do not accidentally drive into a ZTL area. Also, be aware that you will need to pay local tourist taxes on arrival at the apartment as mentioned in the booking. For Agrigento Valley of Temples, you need to take the car (10 minutes drive away) and need to go down to Porto 5 at the base for the paid parking area. Other gates are also there but this one is at the base of the hill. Not very expensive for parking for the day to see the incredible Valley of Temples. A wonderful stay. Authentic location in a city of general decay and dilapidation, which has it's own fascinating charm. A place to climb up and down many steps and steep narrow lanes. Grocery 1 minute. Great artisan baker (Pantifico) 3 minutes walk.
Compact budget bedsit with good bathroom. Quiet at night, can sleep with raised elevation balcony door open. Great coffee machine, with capsules. Welcome rations included croissants, and cream pastries in fridge.
Host reacted promptly when bottle gas supply was exhausted. Host kept us informed of other arrivals at site. Host brought change of towels.
We arrived Agrigento by bus and departed by train and host provided transits for both.
The beautifully restored and immaculately maintained Agrigento Central rail station is worth a visit to go up and down impressive twin marble staircases. (10 minutes walk from apartment).

Everything about this lovely little apartment in the old centre exceeded our expectations. Edoardo was an exceptional host and went out of his way to accommodate us and made our short stay extra special. There's a gorgeous little panificio (bakery) next door, a great osteria down the road to the piazetta. The Valley of the Temples is a 6- minute drive away. A visit to the churches is also recommended. Lots of great osterias and trattorias nearby. Gorgeous.

Nice host !! She offered immediatly some juice when we arrived and showed us some information about neighbourhood. She also arranged a restaurant for us so we didn’t need to reservate ourselves. Very cute and charming little village with cosy restaurants and shops in 5 min driving (only in the evening difficulties with finding parking spot). We only stayed one night but would for sure stated longer if we knew this in advance !!

The garden and farm around the B&B are exceptionally tended. It really is a slice of heaven in the hills.
The pool rivals many resorts but this one you’ll probably have to yourself.

It’s a nice B&B runned buy the owners, so it’s a very relaxed environment. The room is comfortable, has lot of ammenities (sauna, jacuzzi, pool), so it’s good for a romantic stay. The breakfast is very good as well, and the host (Krizia) is very concerned to help the guests. She helped us to make a reservation in a very nice restaurant with a gorgeous view of the Valle dei Tempi (Valley of the Temples).
Small, charming and cosy hotel in the old town of Agrigento. The rooftop terrace with view to the hills was very nice. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but there are two excellent and cheap coffee shops - Concordia and Avenue on the main square, those we can for sure suggest, walking distance only 5 minutes down.

Beautiful relaxing location with idyllic views. Truly a place to unwind and relax. Common area with hot tubs and bar is incredible, breakfast was good and staff were welcoming and friendly. Well located for Valley of the Temples.
1. This is an old family home - with the loveliest of families surrounded by olive trees, peacocks and doves. Everyone is made personally welcome.

Fascinating place! Stefania was so helpfull and nice! Breakfast was great with everything one can ask for! Special french croissants! Incredible smell of jasmine bushes on the terrace! In fact everything smells so nice there! (I have a really keen sense of smell 😉) Cosy and very comfortable! I really loved that there is a coffee machine in the room so one can enjoy an italian coffee in the morning just wearing pyjamas! Charming and convenient place! Next time we’ll stay longer!

What a gem of a place!! We were welcomed so incredibly kindly. This place is so unique, with many personal beautiful touches. The garden is an oasis, perfect for a romantic dinner under the stars or for a cosy breakfast. The breakfast buffet is stunning, beautifully displayed.
