We stayed at babaleq during a surf trip to desert point and it was awesome, the owner jhon is an internet technician from the village and was helpful to all our questions and had a good communication in English. The accommodation is simple yet well above Indonesians home stay standard, we felt safe and close to where we needed to be, this place is located in a simple local village in a beautiful bangko bangko bay next to desert point, when traveling you can choose to stay on a luxurious resort or have a true local culture immersion and that was our choice, wish jhon and his family’s all the best as his accommodation business keep growing it will get better and better each and every time a western stays there we being supportive of a local man’s bussines so let’s keep doing it. Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
We loved how peaceful the setting and the bungalows were, you look straight at the ocean. They also organise daily activities like snorkelling and bbq on the nearby islands. Great restaurant and food too. The staff was really sweet and helped us with everything we needed.

Very relaxed bungalow resort with a big pool and direct beach. Very relaxing and quiet. We would come back if we go to Lombok and then to Gili Asahan again 10minute boat ride.

A great place to chill and relax, wake up in the morning and lookout from your bungalow at the waves lapping and the sunrise across the water. Blondie and the staff were super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay a great experience. Make sure you ask Blondie to organise a special barbecue seafood feast for you.
Great views out to sea and of the nearby islands, staff were really helpful and accommodating, food was good and reasonably priced .The hotel was simple and charming in a very quiet area if you like quiet and being away from the hustle and bustle of a resort area, We chose it for r and r after a really busy 4 days in the Gili islands. Pool was lovely and was in a great location overlooking the bay . had a couple of nice sunsets during* our stay and the colours in the sky were amazing.

The Rooms are individual bungalows, that are really nice and cozy.
They offer canoes, bikes, activities ,... and also have comfortable places just to relax.
The Restaurant is always open and good.

Pleasantly surprised with just how cozy the bungalows (or cottages) are. Clean and neat interiors with aircon and fan. Bathrooms are huge with hot shower and complete with toiletries. Pool is at the doorstep. And the towels are scented! 😍 Thank you Mas Nyoman and Sinta The Cat for making our short trip one of the best stays in Lombok 😻
