Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
We rented a 2 bedroom cottage, the rooms were comfortable. The bathroom is clean, towels, soap and shampoo are provided. There is a public kitchen where eating utensils and cooking utensils are provided. Coffee and tea were provided for self service. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. There is a sitting area with views of the mountains and fields. Really like staying here.
The room was really quiet, and providing good AC. The staff is very friendly.
The atmosphere in the lobby is also really cozy.
Also, we could deposit our luggage there for one night when going to Bromo.

You can directly rent a motorbike at the guesthouse, save a lot of time and hassle.
The owner was a great help (quickly responsive and friendly, and helped us to get a car to go back to Probolingoo).
I would certainly recommend to do the excursions from within the hostel, we did tempak sewu and bromo. Both were arranged nicely.
It is cosy outside and the room is really good in terms of value for money.
I always love a local villa in the middle of a village with a modern and cozy touch. Plus points compared to other offerings around Bromo:

- 3 room villa. Most villas around were single room villa
- Fireplace at hall area
- Away from jeep noises around 1-3am
