Great location with the best view of Bromo. It is inside the national park so we had to pay 250k pp as an entrance fee.
There is a great restaurant at 2 minutes walk called "Lava View Lodge". In the morning they do a buffet breakfast which is great after the sunrise tour.
Affordable driver from and to Probolinggo, we paid 300k each way.

Pretty cheap and perfectly located! It is very basic and not super cozy but got everything you need and even had hot water, which others didn’t although they were way more expensive.
The location couldn't be better. One of only two hotels inside the national park and on the wider caldera rim; Hotel Bromo Permai was better appointed but the views couldn't compare. The view from the bungalow at dawn was spectacular, and we were able to walk out to the volcano rather than by moped or 4WD.
