Fantastic location and view over lake Balaton. When we had a little trouble to find the place, the owner immediately rushed to us to bring us to the place and show us around. Andras appeared to be a very friendly man and we immediately felt at home in the place.
The equipment is mostly new and super complete into every detail.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
I would consider it as a hidden gem in Veszprem.
If you are looking for a cozy & tranquil place, it is for you.
Huge advantage to it that is very close to the Old Town of Veszprem, supermarkets, coffee shops are at a 5-10 min walking distance.
Plus the bus stop from which you can get to the train station is also very close, a few minutes walk.
Excellent atmosphere of the hotel - makes justice to the name Historia. The location! - you can take the nearby stairs and you get right near the Watching tower in the old town. Small and cosy sauna.

Excellent hotel. Great food in the restaurants and a lovely spa with the hottest sauna. We took the little tourist road train into the centre one day but walked back from the centre in about 15 minutes and it's all downhill in that direction. Veszprem itself has a fantastic historic centre that is all being restored as the city is the 2023 EU cultural capital.
