Very pleasant and clean accommodation in a quiet location, just a short walk from the center. The helpful and kind owners had no problem preparing a crib and a baby bath for our little one. We definitely recommend it.

Everything, the location was excellent on a quiet street close to a row of good restaurants and within easy walking distance of the thermal lake. The rooms were comfortable, airy and clean and our host was extremely friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at this fully refurbished cottage in Varvolgy, near Lake Balaton, and had a wonderfully relaxing experience. The cottage is beautifully restored, blending modern comforts with rustic charm. Everything was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness really stood out. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you might need, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay.
The highlight for me was the spacious, well-maintained garden and the lovely terrace—perfect for enjoying the tranquility of this rural setting. The location is ideal if you're looking for a peaceful getaway, far from the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough to explore the beauty of Lake Balaton. It’s a true escape into the countryside, offering all the quiet and privacy you could want. The only downside was that the bathroom and toilet doors couldn't be locked, which might be a concern for some guests.
Overall, it’s a great spot for those who appreciate nature and want to experience the typical rural lifestyle in Hungary. Despite the minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this cottage for a serene countryside retreat near Lake Balaton.

Nice and quiet localisation within 30 minute walking distance to Balaton Lake. Friendly and helpful staff (landlady and landlord, nice people). Apartament is clean and cosy.
Very good location, near city centre and the lake. You will find inside everything that you need. Nice terase with small sauna and pool. Suitable for 3 families.
It's a very lovely house, very cozy decoration, comfy bed, and my favorite was the balcony. It's nice to have an early coffee and chill on the balcony, feel the calm.
The sauna spa was a surprise. I also tried, easy to use, but it took almost 50 mins and then I started to sweat.
The host is helpful on food and sight recommendations.
The room was clean and modern. Very cozy. Our first room did not have any isolation so the wind went straight in, but the staff was helpful and gave us a new room with free later checkout for the inconvenience.
The spa was very good with a lot of pools and saunas.

Lilla is amazingly welcoming, kind and friendly! You indeed rarely meet SUCH hospitality and care about every guest. The room itself is very good, warm, clean and cozy, the bed is huge and comfortable, and in addition there's a real clay oven! (haven't a chance to use it unfortunately). Furnishing and atmosphere are a little big nostalgic, which is good for me - felt like I'm in in my childhood at aunt's country house, but now with an air conditioner :)
