I stayed at Maksimirhouse with my husband and son, sister and mother. This accommodation is tastefully furnished, comfortable, and clean.
The host was very helpful even before we arrived. Everything that would make one's stay feel like a home away from home was considered. Facilities were great.
The area felt safe and quiet, and a short drive into Zagreb. It's also walking distance to the Tram stop into the center.
I had no complaints at all.

Nice cozy hotel, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, very decent spa & wellness area, sauna zone. The hotel offers convenient free parking. It's easy to get to the centre either by tram or taxi.
The hot tub was really good - the apartment had a nice touch to it. Sauna was not used, but seemed clean and good nick. Location was good... cafe's and lidl 2 mins away for food (although they close early) and tram to centre 5 min walk.
The atmosphere of the neighborhood was quiet and charming. We felt like locals. The interior of the apartment is cosy and stylish. We appreciated little snacks waiting on the table!
We loved the super central, romantic and quiet Place: a mix between the Romeo and Juliet balcony and a scenario from Milan Kundera… I loved it being so clean, the friendly atmosphere, the books, the cozy satee corner and the well illuminated big table.
Location, outdoor seating, beds, hot shower, kitchen, divided sleeping areas. Its a cute little cottage. Feels like being in the countryside but in the middle of Zagreb. Steps away from the tramway and events.
The apartment was super cozy and included all the facilities needed for a short stay (fully equipped kitchen, cutlery, cabinets, towels, slippers,etc.). The property was well maintained and freshly clean when we arrived. The owner was really kind and provided all the necessary details to check-in easily. The location is the best part of it all, as the apartment is close to the city center as well as most of the nice spots in Zagreb worth exploring.
This centrally located apartment in Zagreb was a great find. Despite the multiple doors to unlock to the apartment, the convenience of the location was a major plus. The charming decor, especially the bike-themed accents, added a unique touch to the cozy space. The price-to-value ratio was excellent, though the bed was a bit uncomfortable for our liking. Overall, a very recommendable and unique stay in Zagreb
