What a great find. This house is amazing and in the middle of nowhere yet surrounded by nature. The views are spectacular. It is very quiet so you will get great sleep. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The only regret we have is that we only got to stay for one night. We would have stayed longer if we could.

This house is simply amazing. Small, cozy, warm and well equiped. It is situated right next to a beautiful lake, so the view is amazing.

Wonderful cottage with all necessary equipment. Close to the road but still quiet with own access road and free parking just in front. Comfortable beds, clean and independent from other guests.
Restaurant is nice, dishes are tasty and personnel is very kind and professional . Breakfast starting from 7AM which is great for travelers. I really enjoyed my stay and I regret not having more time to stay longer.

Villa LaNila is located in Janja Gora, just 26 miles from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1 and 28 miles from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 2.

We had a great time! The owners give you absolute privacy, the villa is positioned where nobody bothers you or you them. Perfect for going with friends, large pool, they have a ping pong table, picado, many board games, outside grill with wood or coal, fireplace and a lot of space around.
The only “problem” is getting there, since google maps shows you roads that don’t exist anymore. The only road that leads there goes through Paški village, to the end, past Ina petrol station and at the border of the village you take the smaller road, depending on where you are comming from (if you come from the “left side” of the map, its past Ina to the left, and if you come from the “right side” you should turn right before going into the village). Then just follow the road and keep left at the crossroad and you will come to another one where there’s a sign for the villa (see the screenshot, my marked path ends at the sign where you take the left road).
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.

Place is warm and cosy.We heated place on wood stove,so romantic..We came between Christmas and New Year,visited Slovenia, (Ljubljana 2 hours away over Metlika crossing,also went to Bled Lake).
Make sure you walk through village left and right,all the way to Salopek selo)
