Surrounding is very quiet, it feels like being in the woods, even if it’s not isolated and that’s good too. It takes 5minutes by car to go to the town to buy food, and where is a nice spot to chill on the river.
Location is great to go around in the region for trekking.
The patio outside is great to have barbecues or just to chill when it’s good weather, we used it to hung a hammock too. Inside is comfortable, small but cozy, kitchen is equipped enough, bed is comfortable enough - I traveled with my mate and our newborn and the host managed to give us a nice crib. Bathroom is pretty small but functional, also equipped with soap.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Nice location, cozy houses. The hot tub is the best we had in Croatia (tho a little gross, time to change/clean the filter!). Swimming pool was heated. Location is close to the national park, easy to walk there. The sauna area looked really nice, tho we didn't use it.
Very nice and cozy mountain house. We came for a 3-day cycling event. There was plenty of space to safely store our mountain bikes, the house was well equipped for cooking and comfortable for sleeping. We spent most of our time in nature, but the house also has nice outdoor areas for hanging out. Beautiful nature all around, highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice place as a base for hiking/cycling/etc.
Very charming. The host was very nice and helpful, we felt warmy welcomed. It was perfectly clean and very comfy. The Apartment is right outside the gorgeus Risnjak National Park in great location.

That was super cozy, well equiped and furnitured house in the center of Crni Lug which close to start of all hiking routes situated nearby. There were very comfortable beds and pillows, clean and soft towels, everything for cooking in terms of crockery and cutlery, hot water in the shower and a good wood burning stove that warmed the house and made evenings even cozier. We were greeted by Jasna and Alen super warm, like we were their old friends. We are thankfull for the hospitality and will come one more time!
Quiet cottage in the middle of the hills, with almost no traffic, great place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. Closeness of the national park makes it even better, we had a great time staying there
