The Villa is beautiful in a great location, 5 mins walking from the beach (which was perfect).
The check in and check out process was very easy.
It was very clean, well equipped and we had everything we needed. The cleaning standards are very high, and all the furniture felt like it was new.
George the host was amazing, very responsive, helpful and took care of everything.
The villa is pretty private, and the staff (gardener and cleaning lady) were very nice as well and respected our privacy. Our villa was cleaned (including dishwasher and towels) every day. All the facilities were great - AC, garden furniture, very comfortable bed, very (!!!) spacious bathroom.

The owners are very warm and welcoming! The view and the atmosphere, as you sit on the terrace, are amazing! It is far better then in the pictures! The descriptions are correct! There really isn't anything else that you might need, in terms of comfort (fully functional kitchens; toiletries in the bathrooms; night lights; mosquito nets; TVs and A/Cs in all rooms; washing machines; balconies; etc.). A car is needed to get to the location, but without one, is as if you visit Crete with one eye closed. A very good restaurant is down the road (the owner can guide you perfectly, to the best places - Efcharistou, again, for eveything!🤗); and supermarkets are within a few kilometers (not to mention some amazing beaches!!).

Villa Kalliopi is exceptional. We are a large family and we each had our own space on each of the 3 floors. (There are 2 bedrooms on each floor). The villa has lots of cute areas outside too for us to relax, read, eat and play games. We all loved the fabulous pool and the little pool was perfect for the 2 little ones.
Marilena and Manos couldn't be better hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We really appreciated the gifts they left for our arrival and the shopping they did for us as our flight was late. Their communication was always prompt and friendly.
The location of Villa Kalliopi is wonderful. We did a lot of day trips and particularly enjoyed Preveli Beach and Monastery, Lake Kournas, the boat trip from Rethymno Harbour and the visit to Karavostasi Beach in Bali. All are within an hour's drive.
The local village of Prines is less than 10 mins away and we ate in all 3 restaurants there. The food was superb in all 3 and very reasonable.

Well equipped cosy apartment in a very good location. The staff were extraordinary, we received a welcome card with chocolate and a bottle of wine when we arrived there 🙂 They were so helpful and kind, a really good place to have a vacation.
Cozy room with mini kitchen, refrigerator and everything you need. Balcony overlooking the sea. The beds are comfortable. Special thanks for the very high quality daily cleaning! Clean towels every day and frequent change of bed linen. In the same building there is a tavern with excellent food. The staff is attentive. I recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay with Georgia and her family. The apartment had everything we needed for self catering with a lovely balcony, access to a dining table in the garden and a gorgeous pool.
The location was brilliant, we visited 9 different beaches in 6 days, all within 15 minutes drive and Kourtaliotiko Gorge is also within a close drive and a must do.
We can't speak highly enough of our hosts, homemade lemonade, bread, the cutest dog and even help with our car when we had an issue - it's truly a home away from home.
I was delighted with the studio, a tranquility. Manolis the owner is very helpful and as the studio was free the day of my arrival, the chekin said, which was a giant differential. because we arrived in Erakliom at 4 a.m., which I am very grateful to her. The Estudio has a view from Terraça to the beautiful sea... and all the amenities we need for our 6-day stay. Plakias is a beautiful and charming little town.
Only a few steps away from the beach and cosy beach bar, in the calmer part of the town. City center and restaurants about 15 minutes walk. Supermarkets at walking distance. House perfect for 4 adults. Antonia of the property was always available for any questions or support. House was regularly cleaned and new towels and linnen provided!
Wonderful location just on the outskirts of Plakias, beautiful gardens and spotless apartment with every single service item you could possible want. Lovely owners who made our three week stay memorable. I've been coming to Plakias for over 40 years, it is the most charming quiet place to stay,the top quality Tavernas, relaxing bars and fabulous beaches are a credit to the local people who are so friendly, many who I have got to know over the years, see you next year....we cant wait!!
