We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the villa! The place is immaculate and exudes a cozzy charm that made us feel right at home. The house is located in a small village on a mountain. For us this was exactly what we where looking for. The view is fantastic and on a clear day you can even see the mountain Athos on Chalkidikí. The backyard is perfect for kids and dogs. Dimitris is a great host and Helen will make your stay comfortable. You have to try one of the home made pies offered by Dimitris. If you come in October/November you can enjoy Persimmons, Chestnuts and Kiwis. The people in the village are very friendly. We felt like we were coming home. Every Tuesday there is a local market in Leptokarya and every Friday in Neoi Poroi. The beach in Mesangala and in Skotina is also worth a visit. Mount Olympus is not far and you can drive up to Pironia. There is a small restaurant and hiking trails start from there as well.

The property was charming, new and clean. We got an upgrade to a cosy room. The interiors were pleasant and the hospitality was off the charts! We got welcomed with a tea and sweets and got tips for where to go in the neighbourhood. When we informed the host that we are vegan we got treated with additionally tips for restaurants as well as great breakfast made for us, including a vegan dessert. Before our hike to Olympus we got breakfast packed at 6 am and after the hike we got fresh fruit delivered to our room!

This charming lodge is like no other. The owners, Katerina & Sakis impersonate everything that Greek hospitality means. They take care of each guest as if they where family. Additionally, the lodge is well equipped and in perfect condition, in every aspect.
Everything was perfect! The countryside Lodge is magical and beautiful in a traditional architectural style. The owners are very sweet, friendly, extremely helpful and always with a smile. The handmade breakfast by Katerina is amazing & very tasteful! The location is quite, with easy parking on the road. I highly recommend it to everyone.
The place is fantastic! A hidden gem right next to Olympus, but also very close to the city centre and many restaurants. We got a big room and we were surprised with the quality of everything in the room. The staff went above and beyond to help us and we’re still dreaming of the homemade breakfast. Thank you Countryside Lodge! We’ll be back!
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was a living space downstairs with a fireplace, very cosy. But the best part is the sauna/jacuzzi room, it was worth every penny.
