Our stay at DonQuihotel Chalet was nothing short of exceptional. The room was not only impeccably clean and comfortable but also beautifully decorated, with attention to detail that pleasantly surprised us at every turn.
One of the highlights of our visit was the unique breakfast brunch prepared by Charalambos. His remarkable hospitality made us feel truly special and added a personal touch to our mornings!
The chalet’s location in the center of the island made it easy to reach any other location, which was incredibly convenient for our explorations.
Additionally, the peaceful balcony offered a stunning view of the sunset, providing a perfect end to our days.

Mr. Vaggelis was very friendly and he happily shared a bit of locally collected Sage (Salvia/faskomilo) from his stash, after he saw that I used it in cooking. Perfect calm and gorgeous setting on the hill overlooking the small town and the sea. This house was beautiful inside and out and the perfect setting for unwinding in stillness. The view and outside areas are lovely and make it so we didn’t want to leave the house. But it’s only a short drive down to the town beach or a more wild and beautiful beach. Just take supplies with you because there is no market in town. The house has a nice kitchen for preparing meals. The hosts were really responsive and kind. I would travel back to the island for many reasons but also to stay at Athena’s house again. Made the end of our stay on Kythira perfect.

This is a hidden gem in an outstanding location - close enough to walk to an impressive beach or take a short car ride to many others, while also tucked away on a serene hill by olive groves. Fenia, the host, was attentive, accommodative and very helpful during our stay (we ended up reserving the property one extra night even though our ferry was very late at night, just so that we could keep enjoying this amazing spot during the day, visit Kaladi beach and relax before our trip out of Kythira). I can't recommend this enough. We'll be back, Fenia - thanks again for everything!

Delightful stay at the Nostos in beautiful Chora Kythera village. Elegant, beautifully designed, clean, comfortable room. Staff were lovely people and very welcoming and accommodating. A short drive away from the sea at Kapsali. Charming village streets to explore. I would gladly stay again!

Our stay was wonderful. We had the room with the roof terrace and that was the best choice! The view over the Chora and the ocean was stunning. The room itself was very cozy and traditionally furnished, what we really liked. Would come again anytime.
