This was our awesome stay in Corfu!
It was our first travel to Corfu, and we had to research a lot for possible places to stay. We saw the Green Yard House, which was just opened for tourists this year, it looked nice in the pics, and we wanted to try our luck. And it turned out to be the most amazing stay, and both the couples travel quite a lot, so trust us on this.
The location is just the most proper for a true Greek island experience. The house is surrounded by greenery on all sides, on a very quiet small hill, with plenty of trees, flowers, fruits and vegetables. It’s just 5 mins away from Sidari – town with everything. A lot of amazing beaches are within 15 min ride, and we recommend Agios Georgios.
The hosts, with whom we had amazing communication and made everything easy, have a little secret. Teir parents, Viktoris and Kostadina, live across from the vegetable garden and are the most lovely people you will meet. They offered some fruits and vegetables and helped with everything. We felt as if we went to spent time with grandma and grandpa – that truly was the level of hospitality. And also you have all privacy since the two houses are separated by a garden.
The house itself is a real standout for whatever stay you have had before. It’s a full apartment: three bedrooms, two toilets and a huge living area with a full kitchen. The size of the place is what you will not get in other box sized sterile accommodations. This place was made with a lot of spirit, taste and dedication. It has high wooden ceilings, awesome antique decorations and massive wooden furniture. The beds are super large and very comfortable. The size of all the rooms is probably double that you usually get in rented apartments. The kitchen has all the amenities you would need and also more than you might need. Washing machines for clothes as well as dishwasher are included in the house.
Kidoni cottage is located in Doukádes, just 6.1 miles from Angelokastro and 12 miles from Port of Corfu. With garden views, this accommodation features a terrace.

The host contacted us proactively and provided guidance on how to find the place, where to park, etc. When we arrived, the Kidoni cottage house was perfectly cleaned. The living room with kitchen is spacious and very well-equipped, including spices, plenty of water, and some extra goods like spices and local products. There are two bathrooms which is very convenient. The terrace has a great view of the mountain. Very quiet and calm place to stay, just two minutes from the village square. I always managed to find a parking space on the parking.

The view. It was absolutely incredible from the apartment.
The beds, extremely comfortable, slept like a baby every night.
The living space and kitchen were well equipped, we wanted for nothing, it felt very comfortable and spacious, lovely space to be in.
The bathrooms were excellent, showers had good water pressure, plenty of soap and gels if we hadn't brought our own.
I even liked walking up the hill.

The room is exactly as shown in the pictures: very pretty and with all needed facilities. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking . But what I appreciated the most was Angela herself. She is so kind and nice, we arrived late and she waited for us. She gave us information about the attractions around, grocery shopping, transportation, and everything we needed. The biggest help was getting us a scheduled taxi ride for the airport. We enjoyed our stay at Angela. 😊

A very cosy, quiet, clean and exceptionally aesthetically and functionally furnished holiday home in the strategic location to explore all the beautiful beaches on the west and north west coast. Parking in front of the house. Upon arrival we were surprised with gifts such as fruit and chilled wine in the fridge! Communication with the owner was excellent. Perfect wifi. One of our best stays ever (and we travel a lot :-). We will definitely come back!!!
Stayed here a couple of times and each year it gets better, the rooms are spotless and very comfortable, everything provided that you would need for a self catering holiday with a wonderful bar /restaurant serving great food, particularly enjoined the curry evening held every Sunday. There is a fantastic swimming pool also which is immaculately looked after, The staff are all so friendly and help to create a lovely ambiance, the returning guests are proof of the quality of these studios.

It was the best experience in Corfu. Super clean apartments, very cozy. the hosts have thought of everything! We were welcomed with wine and snacks. Cold water in the fridge! the location is amazing, the beach is right next to the house as well as the restaurants! An irreplaceable place with children.
