The cottage was very cosy and the kitchen was well equipped. Nice bedrooms and a good bathroom. The keepers were very friendly and welcoming. There is a beautiful garden were you can stay. And in the morning the sun is welcoming you for breakfast outside.
You have direct access to public footpaths in the lovely countryside.
The house is nearby the Peak District and you are close to the famous Sculpture Park.

We stayed in this fabulous cottage New Years Eve. The cottage exceeded our expectations. Holmfirth is a delightful little village with great bars and restaurants a plenty, perfect if you enjoy walking. We couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be rebooking.

The bungalow was amazing, as soon as we entered you could see & feel how clean and fresh it was.
Kitchen was well equipped if you fancy doing a spot of cooking, bathroom had some nice little extras like soap, shower gels and travel toothbrushes. The addition of a bowl of chocolates was a nice welcoming touch.
We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The holiday home was clean, tidy and had everything you needed for your stay. The bath and amenities were perfect and the hot tub was unreal. The privacy and the calmness around the property was lovely and the property went above and beyond a normal holiday home.
The location in the countryside was perfect, giving us the peace and quiet we needed. The owners have obviously taken time to think about how they can make people's stay better than a hotel room with all the little extras, like fresh eggs in the kitchen to bath salts for the beautiful bath. If you need time to relax and get away from it all, this is a great place to go. Many thanks to the owners.
The property is on a working farm with cows, horses, chickens and a peacock - and there's a burger bar across the yard. It's close to walking routes and within an easy drive of some fantastic countryside.
The cottage was comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Loved how it was integrated into a working farm and situated above the horse stables. Our little girl was only 10weeks old so didn’t really appreciate this but would love to bring her back when she’s older to see all the horses.
Hosts were lovely and the location was good. Would like to try out the wagyu beef at the on-site restaurant next time.
The location was perfect for us as we had a relative living in one of the cottages. The grounds, wildlife was awesome, seeing so many pheasants was lovely. Breakfast was good.
