The property was clean and comfortable, the garden was lovely to sit in. We had a delicious meal in the Lairds inn, which is a short walk through the caravan park. There were lovely walks in the area.

The lodge was super clean. It had everything we needed for our three night stay. It was cosy and comfortable. It felt super private as you are enclosed by a fence all the way around. The hot tub was amazing and relaxing. It is in a great location close to shops and restaurants. Loads of local walks and nature reserves. Great place for just relaxation.

Our hosts couldn't have been friendlier. The area was a 3min drive from Wigtown centre which was important to us and the property was cosy and warm.

An idyllic location if you enjoy farmed countryside in a peaceful spot just off the beaten track. The Bothy is well-cared for and spotlessly clean throughout. It comfortably accommodated our group of 3 adults. The kitchen area is compact, but well-equipped and fine for a couple of nights away.

Felt at home straight away. Very comfortable cottage, well equipped and thought-out. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Good to have text message contact with Julie, who looks after the cottage.

Warm welcome from Nicole and Malcolm and bike stored securely. Beautiful old house. The room was just lovely, had some lovely bits in it, very welcoming and cosy. Nicole & Malcolm set a plate out for my evening meal and pointed me (& the other guests) in the direction of the only place to eat that evening. Delicious breakfast, and had a nice chat with Malcolm. I was sad to leave that morning. Wigtown was quiet but I loved the feel of the place.

A gorgeous cottage with everything we needed. A welcome bottle of wine and Nespresso pods was a wonderful touch, as were the bathroom products. Loved that there were 2 ensuite rooms and a bathroom for the other bedroom. There is 1 pub opposite the cottage and a takeaway next door. There's also a coop 3 doors away. There's a little courtyard which would be great when the weather is fine, to sit and relax in.
