Everything about Swallows Rest was excellent. Clean, comfortable and extremely well appointed. Caroline and her husband were great hosts and, following a power cut courtesy of Storm Darragh, gave us some compensation to get some breakfast. Something they didn’t have to do at all but it was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. Highly recommended.

The grounds are lovely and the staff are amazing booked a holiday cottage but was unable to stay there as the cottage needed work done so was upgraded to a lodge they couldn't do enough to help us and had a great stay

Lovely location, really lovely quiet site. Even in 3 days of Cornish rain lounging on the comfy sofa and looking out the windows to the brillant views of the fields was great. The cottage was tidy and comfy and plenty of nice walks without going far. Really sorry i couldn't have stayed another week. Thanks hosts!!

The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable. The owners organised a welcome pack of goodies, which was an unexpected delight. The location was out of the way, and even though other families and the owners were nearby, you still felt secluded.
Hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after doing one of the recommended walks detailed in the welcome book. Nice touch were the dressing gowns to be used outside.
Overall, a wonderful, relaxing stay!
Situated amongst fields with sheep, horses and cows. It gives you proper feel of rural/farm experience. The cottages are very cosy and well maintained. Lovely small private garden next to each cottage plus big outdoor space for use of all visitors. Our child loved the playground and animal feeds. Tractor and pony rides were proper highlights of the stay! Great communication with staff who were also very helpful. Inform provided through app prior arrival was extremely useful and so easily accessible! Thank you!
