Conveniently located. Love the Co-Op being just steps away. Enjoyed being able to get her as a group in the evenings for conversation with our own alcohol-saved a fortune from being in a hotel bar. One of our party vaped and enjoyed the back garden & facilities. If I had one complaint it would be couches were low and deep and after a while hurt our backs.

Ours was a Lodge Cabin - not the Hotel - a bonus in its setting - & ideal when it is not school holidays - but could bring the grandkids on an adventure break- well signposted from the warren of Warrington from the motorway. Near Ikea. & close enough for the Liverpool Isle of Man ferry.
Food was gorgeous
Spa was lovely but some rules in spa but too strict compare other hotel, staff check in sauna room every 5 min mean temperature cold quick because door open regularly, also hot tub not allowed in when not bubble had to sit on bench waiting. Other hotel can stay in.
Lovely little cottage in a great location. Near enough to the towns but far enough away to have a countryside feel. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Always had time to talk to us and made us feel very welcome
