I stayed in Stan's place for several visits, totalling 8 nights, while working in the local area. After trying several other properties in and around Malmesbury, I can safely say this cottage was my best experience by far.
The property was always clean, and had all the required amenities I'd expect - and the check-in and out procedures were straightforward. The location of the property is very convenient, with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, and historical sites within walking distance. I found the hosts to be always communicative and courteous, and I'd say the price is very reasonable for such an outstanding cottage.
Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others travelling for work or leisure!

Hosts were very helpful in making sure we could find the place easily. There was lots of lovely attention to detail. Games to play .Milk had been left for us in the fridge so we could have a cuppa. Really cosy atmosphere when we walked in fairy lights and lamps had been turned on. Shower was nice and hot the bed was extra comfy. Not a single complaint . Might benefit from a matt as you walk in though the door matt outside was very wet from the snow/ rain we didn't want to walk wet shoes in. Wonderful stay .

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and relaxing Central to the area we were touring. Good access to the town with plenty of interesting shops and places to have a coffee or to go for a meal. The bonus was private parking.
This is an absolutely gorgeous cottage! It was fully equipped and felt incredibly cosy, had beautiful furnishings and fittings and a lovely garden. Loved the fireplace. The host responded promptly to any queries that we had and we were very happy to have been left fresh flowers and items for breakfast!
All in all we had a great stay and would certainly recommend to others.

We stayed in the gamekeepers cottage which had everything we needed, was beautifully decorated and cosy the rest of the grounds were well maintained and the restaurant food was excellent.
Self catering, but host also left ample provisions. Easy walk to town and local amenities. Charming and practical cottage for our purposes. Generosity and bonhomie of our host.
Everything! Tue beautiful decor, cozy living room, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, the three toilets and two bathrooms, the enchanted garden, the fireplace/wood burner, the beautiful top-floor bedroom and en-suite bathroom, the great location and beautiful town. All in all, the whole cottage!
