This is a great location on a working farm. Linda and her family - including extended family of all ages - could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Our children (ages 7 and 10) went off on tractors, collected eggs, cuddled puppies, saw the milking, went fishing. The accommodation was simple and unfussy but very cosy and well equipped. We wanted a base from which to see family and explore the local area so this was perfect for us - very relaxed and down to earth. Probably not the right choice for guests who want a finely manicured location or lots of organised entertainment right on the doorstep. But it was exactly what we were looking for.

Location was perfect! I went to visit my mum who lives down the road from the property. I found the owners to be very helpful & responded to our questions very promptly! They were very informative.
The property was lovely & spacious lovely & clean modern home the plus for me was having a driveway for the car.
Nice quiet area near city centre & other amenities.
I ordered a local takeout located in crownhill village just up the road.
Free Wi-Fi was another plus for us & fully equipped for us!

Beautiful location, clean and very well organised cottage with a great outdoor patio area. The hosts Nigel and Janet were very helpful. They even have an electric charger! Easy access to Tavistock and surrounding countryside.
I had driven past this lovely cottage many times over the years whilst holidaying in the area and it’s just so picturesque. The owner was so welcoming and lovely and had plenty of advice about what to do and where to go. Breakfast was a delight, in the conservatory overlooking the river Tavy
This was a perfect place to escape city life and just unwind for a few days with beautiful surroundings and comfortable settings.
The resident dog, Pippa was an added bonus as was the amount of space for morning walks.

We didn't have breakfast as we were meeting friends later for brunch but we enjoyed lovely tea, coffee and biscuits from our tea tray. Iain was so welcoming and the accommodation was comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean. This charming cottage made for a perfect retreat.
