Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
The beautiful location and the Spa facilities. It was rained off on Monday but we were so happy to be able to use the Spa, steam room, Sauna and indoor jacuzzi was great.
The spa was great. The feel of the place was cosy and charming. Quite good breakfast. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (£2 single fare) and buses had open top decks!
Charming old hotel with a lot of character. Amazing views, lovely grounds, a great open pool, and very cosy public spaces. Mid-century lounge with a sea view is still truthful to its era, and a club-style bar is a nice place to have a glass of wine after a hike.
The hotel was charming, cosy and welcoming. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. We had a fabulous breakfast in the morning!
The location was incredible.
Knoll house is a great place, the rooms were clean and cosy, superb location for family with little ones, the staff accommodated all our request for food, (thank you to the chef),games and movies were organised in the afternoon for the children. Breakfast covers all taste and appetite.Plenty of lounges to accommodate some reading , tennis rackets, golf club and a lovely fire in the entrance, crispy white table linen in the restaurant, a country house which ticked all the boxes.
