Excellent value for money. The lady on reception was helping a van driver, who was also staying, to sort out his parking arrangements. She showed us to reception and started checking us in. She asked about our plans for the evening, then gave us a quieter room away from the function happening that night as we weren't going out. The room was clean and cosy.

The lodge has been built and furnished to a very high standard. Not your standard holiday rental. Check-in instructions were clear, facilities and supplies were excellent.

Modern cabin, very clean & well equipped for the size. Comfy sofa, comfy bed, outside seating for when the weather is good, and little touches like chocolate and tea. A quiet and private location in the owner's back garden.

This was our second stay at the Lodge. The bungalow is so warm and cosy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was made even more special by the Christmas tree.

We’ve stayed here a lot and it’s a cosy, well decorated cottage. Great option in an area strangely lacking in alternatives.
