A great location for my son's uni visit. Free parking over the road and the tram stop into the city was only a 5 minute walk.
The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house has everything we would need and we had great communication from the host.
We had a brief visit to Manchester, and hope to return to explore properly. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Fantastic house near Manchester Airport. We stayed for one night because we had a flight home the next morning but my kids wanted to stay longer. They already asking to go back and stay longer in the future. Very clean and modern. Kitchen fully equipped. Very nice entertainment system in the living room. Beds super comfortable. Bathroom is very clean and well maintained. Will definitely choose in the future.

Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
We attended an event at the Alma Lodge so it was really convenient to be able to stay at the venue itself. The rooms in the Annex were quiet so we slept well. There were lots of communal break out areas so you could have quiet conversations when the music was loud.
The location was amazing and the property was super cute and cozy! It had everything you needed and more. Alison is so lovely and made me feel so welcome. Will definitely stay again whenever I am back for a work trip!
Wow! The cottage was absolutely stunning with amazing views. The furnishings and equipment provided were all first class and the cottage simply gleamed with cleanliness. By far the most perfect cottage we have ever stayed in. Like a real home from home - but even better! The owners were so friendly and helpful. I really can’t praise it enough. It was just wow!
Alma Lodge Hotel is conveniently located to access the peaks, Stockport/Manchester and the airport really easily. My sister and I stayed here after a holiday. The staff responded quickly to any queries we had and were really friendly. Our flight was delayed so we were unable to check in until after 1am. There was someone on the desk to meet us and was very patient with two very tired travellers! The room was really clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Alma Lodge
exceptional and very friendly staff, we had baby with us and did everything to be comforyable, everything was super clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, cosy lobby with fireplace, lovely bar, simple but great breakfast, loved the location
The Barn was cozy, comfy and spotlessly clean. I have never seen a kitchen in a holiday cottage so well equipped. The quiet countryside and fantastic views made the stay relaxing and restorative.
