The cottage was delightful with its own character. It had everything we needed. The shower room was perfect with an amazing shower. Pretty little garden to sit in just outside your room. Breakfast was lovely made to order by Julie. Just what you need to set you off for a busy day exploring the local area. Set in a quiet area with a local bus stop just outside, where you can catch the local bus into Wells and Bath. Julie and David are such a lovely couple, very hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. Helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Had a lovely 3 night stay, and was sad to leave.

What a fabulous place to stay!
This is a wonderfully designed cosy cottage with very modern appliances and everything you could possibly need.
The bed was so comfortable, and we had a lovely welcome gift of scrummy, seeded sour dough, local cheese, and an amazing bottle of rose from the vineyard.

We liked absolutely everything! Maplestone is a charming cottage, spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It has a delightful walled garden, our room had a beautiful view of it. The bathroom facilities were fantastic, every detail was thought through. We were welcomed by Alan, our kind host, with coffee/tea & cake and were treated to the most comprehensive and tasty breakfast the next morning. We loved our stay and regretted having booked only one night.

It's a gorgeous property in an idyllic location. The space was perfect for our group of six plus new born. The kitchen is well appointed with utensils and pans.
The pool table, log burner, and of course, hot tub make this the perfect place to catch up with old friends. Special mention to the cleaners who do a top job!
Great cottage in the heart of Shepton mallet set in the grounds of longbridge house. Cottage is equipped with everything needed for a self catering break and Tanya and Robert are great hosts. Nice extra touches like night lights in the cottage.
Has WiFi which is a must. Loved the working fireplace, it was so cozy. It's peaceful up there with no neighbours, surrounded by fields and cows. Has a nice little garden too with a bench. Rooms are comfy with plenty of storage. All cooking utensils and cleaning products were provided, has a fully functional kitchen to cook.
The location is in beautiful countryside, down a long drive from a small village. The hosts Simon and Alyson were charming and friendly people, with a lovely big dog. The stables themselves are beautifully restored, and the bedroom is very large and well-appointed. Despite the rural location, Wifi is reliable and very fast (about 80Mb). All possible breakfast choices are offered. We had the full English and it was delicious.
