Stayed as a family over New Year. This is a premier property in Sandown, one that I have wanted to stay in for a while and probably the best accommodation available in the area, which goes someway to justifying the premium price. The space in this property is endless; set over four floors, -1 is a garage with table football and a rear entrance leading to drive with parking space for two cars; the ground floor has three bedrooms, one with ensuite, a family bathroom (with a bath) and a utility room - plus good size space for coats and shoes by the front door- which opens directly onto Culver Parade, which is across from the beautiful sandy beach. The first floor contains an open plan kitchen that was equipped with all necessity items, inclusive of Prosecco (left for us on arrival) and some milk and tea making facilities - a nice touch after our ferry journey. On this floor there are balconies front and back, to the front overlooking culver down cliffs, the Sandown pier and of course the endless beach. The rear balcony has views of the hills. On the second floor, a further two bedrooms- one was ensuite; and another bathroom also situated on this floor - four bathrooms in total throughout the house. The balcony overlooking the sea at the front of the property, off of the bedroom, was a sun trap (even over New Year); and the balcony at the rear was an elevated view of the hills. All in all, the property spans approx 2,000 sq ft area, providing endless space, and, although pricey, the views, comfort and superb facilities make this a must stay. Island Holiday Company, who manage the property, did a fabulous job in ensuring it was meticulously clean and fridge stocked with the minimum essentials for an arrival cuppa. Would highly recommend.

Loved this historic property. Loved that there were a variety of room arrangements, a sitting room, and a small garden out back. The breakfast was delicious. Bit of a walk to see Queen Victoria's palace, but I made it :)

The cottage was very quaint and cosy, the beds were extremely comfortable and it had a lovely decking in the garden to sit in and enjoy the sun in the mornings. The hosts were lovely and hospitable and we were greeted with a nice welcome basket for us all to enjoy during our stay. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the IOW in the future!
The location was fantastic, excellent for getting around the island. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and a special shout out to the spa staff who were very kind. Breakfast was very tasty but lacked a little variety.
The massages at the spa were very nice and that facilities in the spa were also good. We were lucky in that it was very quiet, I think if it had been busy the spa would have been less enjoyable as it is a little small (1 pool, 2 hot tubs, 1 steam room, 3 saunas)

The location of the property is fantastic as the beach is right on the doorstep. The bungalow was roomy but really cosy, the kitchen and utility room were great and well equipped with everything you needed and the welcome pack was fantastic. The walk in shower was also brilliant due to the ease of access as one of our party has limited mobility. The area is lovely and quiet but still very local to all amenities. Would highly recommend the bungalow to anyone and will definitely be returning.
The lodge is truly beautiful, the location is peaceful and out in the countryside so you get lovely views from the veranda. Great to have parking right next to the lodge. The lodge was well equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. Liked the technology the lodge had with the Bluetooth speakers in the roof and a smart TV so you can watch Netflix and Prime. We were very impressed and had a very enjoyable stay, we didn't want to leave, it was a home away from home. Collecting the keys was very easy.
It is well positioned in the town centre, so easy to get to. A self catering apartment that is well equipped. It is close to Iceland and Co-Op supermarket if do not want to go far for your groceries. Restaurants and take-aways close by if prefer not to cook after days out. Staff were really helpful checking when we would arrive and making sure it would be cosy for us. Very nicely decorated, clean and tidy.
Super restaurant - enjoyed very nice dinner and breakfast there. Comfortable bed, clean spacious room and common areas. Nice spa with good range of facilities including 2 jacuzzis, 3 saunas, steam room and good size pool. Great views. Friendly staff. Great location which had the benefits of being in the town but felt like the countryside. Had a happy stay and would return.
