Beautiful scenery. There are sheep grazing in the field behind the hot tub. Nice mountains behind the sheep. Highland cows are out the front view.
The house is very modern and comfortable.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
Lovely comfortable lodge in a beautiful location . Great place for a family reunion with grandchildren who loved the place . Wonderful warm welcome from the host and a cosy welcoming pub for evening meals just next door .
Have never been somewhere so we’ll equipped! I always do self catering and take everything….at this lodge most of what I’d packed got left in the boxes as it had everything! Very comfortable, excellent Wi-Fi for the teenagers and lovely location- just remote enough!
Amazing lodge in a amazing location, the lodge has everything you could need and is a 20 second walk to loch lomond, really cosy for those rainy days and a lovely balcony for those sunny days, it was perfect 👌
Caol Gleann lodge provided the perfect get away, the lodge is cosy but modern, it has everything we could possibly need. The lodge is a few minutes walk to the loch edge with spectacular views of Ben Lomond and beautiful trail walks nearby.
Our host deserves a special mention, we had a couple of enquiries and requests and they couldn’t have been more accommodating- it’s really helped make the trip extra special. I hope to come back very soon!
This cottage was a dream! It was clean and cosy and quiet. More spacious than the pictures make it look. Appliances are all modern and easy to use. Wifi is great throughout. Water pressure was fab! So many nice touches, homey but modern. The outdoor and garden areas were beautiful in the nice weather. Very easy communication with the host . We had a lovely peaceful family holiday here!
This lovely, cosy lodge is right on the Loch and at the foot of Ben Lomond (a popular hiking mountain). Stunning setting on the quiet side of the Loch. The lodge was clean and comfortable with all the stuff we needed provided. There was a double room, a twin and another room with bunk beds. Perfect for our family of four. We hope to be back.
We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at Caol Gleann Lodge. The location was a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings and then the cabin itself was super cosy with great facilities and had everything you could need for a relaxing evening after being out all day. the park it’s situated on has a private beach area with access to the loch. there’s also a pub within walking distance if you fancy a pint out. we thoroughly enjoyed our mini break and look forward to returning again.
Blair Byre cottage is an exceptionally quaint wee cottage that is within a 5 minute walk from some lovely walking routes. We loved the homey decor of the place, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the private garden with a small stream running at the back was idyllic (our dog definitely loved it!).
The hosts were very helpful and it was clear that they had prepared the property so that we would be very comfortable during our stay.
