Came up north for some trekking and light remote work, house was nicely located and equipped for both. Really clean and well put together. The blankets and hot water bottle were a nice touch in this awful weather. The hosts were lovely, we really appreciated the note and the goodies it made us feel welcome. Overall, would recommend.

It had character, quirky, but a nice cosy, family feel. The new owners were clearly still finding their feet, but were friendly and accommodating. The sunny breakfast room opening on to a terraced area made for a very pleasant start to the day.
My son loved the dinosaur themed cabin, I had no idea it was an option when I booked so we were lucky to get his favourite dinosaur!

Breakfast was very nice. Lodge was a warm and comfortable, cosy place. We preferred to stay in at night, because it was so cosy and warm as the weather was cold. We thought it was in a very nice area, with lots of beautiful views surrounding the area. We would certainly like to visit again. Thank you to the friendly staff.
