Wonderful, clean, and comfortable apartment. Great location close to everything we wanted to do/see. Also close to public transit and grocery stores, which was convenient! Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
We were out in a shed out the back of the property which was romantically described as The Cottage. Sadly it was nothing more than a shed with very little natural light. None at all in the bedroom!
It was a cozy house. We stayed in a room with our own bathroom. The host was very nice and friendly , always available for any questions or requests. Breakfast was tasty. We felt almost like at home. We went by car to Edinburgh (around 40 min), but the railway station is also very close to the house. Good value for money.
Lovely house, great location and lovely host. Property is very cosy and very unique. We were only needing a somewhere to have a late dinner and sleep so was perfect for us with a young baby. Beds are super comfy and shower was amazing. Little basket of things were left for us to use too which was lovely.
Amazing stay at Queensferry guest house. Easy access with plenty of parking. Wifi available and convenient breakfast. Bedroom nice and cosy with no surrounding noise at all so gave us a peaceful nights sleep we need after such a long journey. Will be using this hotel more again for sure.
