Jo was very welcoming and we felt at home. Location was great. We loved the breakfast and comfortable rooms. Such beautiful views from the window and drive way. We would recommend it to anyone! Hopefully we will be able to come back to visit one day.

Beautiful views of the countryside from the house and garden, very clean on arrival and appreciated the 'welcome pack of goodies' plus the folder full of local information in the surrounding area as well as house instructions which were very clear. House was warm and cosy, beds very comfortable.
Lovely homely cottage, located out in the countryside & a few minutes from the village I grew up in - I remember the farm well & it brought back happy memories.
The cottage was beautiful, very cosy and private although it is on the owner's farm. They gave us complimentary apple juice and granola which were delicious. The bedroom was large with a really comfy bed. We couldn't find fault with anything.
Witcroft Cottage has a brilliant location within walking distance of the Abbey and centre of town. Although an old cottage, it has been tastefully upgraded to include all modern facilities. We especially enjoyed breakfast in the cosy dining nook, lovely hot showers and comfy beds. Also very appreciative of the Christmas decorations, yummy welcome goodies and emergency towel delivery! Thank you, a lovely festive stay.
The place was wonderful. Such a gorgeous place in a lovely setting. The personal welcome and welcome pack were a really nice touch. The photos don't do it justice since the garden has been planted now! Absolutely immaculate and well kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Dog walks out the door. Hot tub in the evening. It would also be amazing for kids with the playground/trampoline etc.. in the garden and a huge box of toys in the lodge.
From start to finish communication was absolutely fantastic - the hosts couldn't have been better (even leaving a little welcome gift for our 4 year old niece which was a lovely touch).
The house and gardens were beautiful and homely and the hot tub was a hit...everything there to make you feel settled, relaxed and cosy.
