Liked most of the accommodation for 1-2 nights. However, It was a small bedroom, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Living area good space . However there were NO blinds on the front windows. If you were sitting /cooking watching TV on an evening or during the day. People would pass your door and could see right inside your sitting area/ lounge. No real privacy except in Bedroom/ bathroom.

The cottage is very clean, well and thoughtfully equipped. There are beautiful views over the countryside and a lovely garden with decking where we enjoyed many cups of coffee and the odd meal. It is also very conveniently situated for days out in most directions, we travelled easily to the Lake District, Alnwick and Newcastle, with Ponteland only a few miles down the road,we had access to a good Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
Cozy room, very clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast room with both international and traditional British breakfasts. Very kind and friendly staff. Very quiet hotel with no noise even if it is just in a busy street. It is just in front of the train station.
Beautiful scenery of the bridge, really well laid out. The pool was great and sauna was beautiful, shame the steam room was off. It does need fixing though as I heard that it has been weeks! Hot tub could have been warmer too.
Cosy and clean cabin.The hot tub under the stars was a beautiful experience. The owner brought us eggs from the farm for our breakfast in the morning. We’ll definitely come back.
