The house is lovely and we used it as a base for a work visit but we would both be happy to have stayed for a holiday. The rooms are all great. The boss had the room with the big roll top bath and loved it so that's always a great start to a work trip.
The equal sized rooms with similar facilities meant that we didn't have to think too hard about the room allocation so it was a great alternative to a hotel for three of us. We were all in separate cars (three) and they all fit on the driveway without any issues.

Good sized house for a weekend to visit Alton Towers. The rooms are of a decent size and staff were extremely proactive in providing information and checking in with us throughout our stay. Next door to the local shop to pickup any bits needed, kitchen was stocked with most things we needed to cook during our stay. Parking is available throughout the village.

House was lovely and clean and welcoming...didn't need to bring a thing except toothbrush. I could have stayed long term. Beds were so comfy and the en suite was a added plus. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk ready and waiting. I will definitely return next time I visit family.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Self Catering, with hamper provided from the hosts, which was great.
Location was great, with plenty of garden space for everyone, kids & dogs to play in.
Property was perfect, the two hot tubs were definitely the highlight for adults and kids. The hosts were extremely helpful every step of the way leading up to our visit and afterwards. We visited Alton Towers as part of our trip which was a 30 min drive.
Loved the quiet and quaint location of the property. Loved the high quality specification - comfortable beds and wonderful garden area with two hot tubs. A wonderful welcome hamper greeted us in arrival - what a treat! The hosts have thought of everything, it’s an extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage. Fantastic communication by hosts. Can’t recommend enough.

The location was easy to find and provided off road parking. A beautiful little garden annex decorated to a very high specification.Very cosy and comfortable with everything you need and in a lovely village setting alongside a brook. Very quiet and relaxing.
The area is stunning and the place is just lovely, so cozy and comfortable. The air con is an amazing touch for a small place like this. The kitchenette is very nice to have and the shower is brilliant. Its also just over the road from a pub. The Hosts Ruth and Robin present the annex in a spotlessly clean condition.
