Superb, great vibe, clean & comfortable with a 5min walk to the train for Edinburgh; careful with the Hagis & Bean combination with breakfast;)

Everything is modern clean and comfortable. I have stayed here many times as I travel up to Scotland on a weekly basis in the summer for work. Perfect stay , unfortunately the price has now increased and it is out of my budget for future stays , which is a shame as a solo female traveller I felt safe at the property . Hosts are friendly and great communication. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Dunfermline to book this property if in their budget.

The house is located in a very quiet district near Edimburg. In 3 minutes driving, there is a comercial area for shopping and eating. Our host called us when we arrived to check that everything was perfect.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Great location with beautiful scenery. The place itself was cosy, with pretty much everything in easy to access locations. Not too far away from anything either, Markinch being a short drive away, meaning you could catch a train to Edinburgh should you so wish to.
Kimmie was a great host, very responsive and helpful. The cabin was cosy, well maintained and would heat up almost instantly when you put the heating on. Markinch is a lovely village with some nice cafes. I would definitely recommend staying in the dookit
