The views were so relaxing and the accommodation was so clean and warm. The hosts were like family after only the first meeting. Would absolutely stay again and again. Hot tub was a lovely experience. Most relaxing holiday we have had for a long time, didn't want to leave. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, too.

Location and view was awesome, really friendly welcoming host who has a passion for what they offer.
A hot tub per lodge is a really nice feature. Being able to watch the young cows play in the fields below was an unexpected bonus.
Everything. The attention to detail was second to none. We don't use the 'P' word as a rule because nothing is perfect, but this is the perfect location for a romantic private get away in lovely setting. We spent a lot of time outside and it was only April (the hot tub is excellent).
All of the positive reviews are correct. If anything, they're understated. We booked to return next year before we checked out.

Beautifully finished property with so many lovely welcoming touches. Paul and Fiona were very gracious hosts. The cottage was spotlessly clean and cleverly designed. Unfortunately the great Scottish weather prevented full enjoyment of the outdoor space but the hot tub was sheltered so could still be enjoyed in the rain. This is a really special, get away from it all, establishment.
The Kings Arms is just a short walk from the train station, which was really handy and also close to bus stops for some local routes to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Lockerbie. I had a small single room and loved my cosy little bed under the window. My welcome at reception was so warm and hospitable too. I felt right at home.
Location was easy to find and had stunning views across the rolling countryside. The cabin was cute, clean and romantic. The host had left some staples in the fridge and the facilities were modern. The bedding was high quality and clean.
The cottage was amazing it had it all very spacious, cosy, clean. The rooms were massive, and the garden out of the back is lovely and relaxing to sit out on a sunny day/evening, and see animals up close :) perfect family stay. Close to local amenities and Dumfries is nearby.
It was such a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Beautiful scenery and the owners was very helpful and friendly. Hot tub was brilliant, lovely setup on the decking. The lodge itself was brilliant- everything providing and very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back for another relaxing stay soon.
