It was a very cozy place and the fireplace was a really nice addition to the house. The house was very clean, this made the stay even more enjoyable. I recommend this property and I will definitely come back here again another time with my family.
An idyllic setting to a well appointed hotel. Large rooms (Stone Cottage) and comfy beds. Breakfast served in the main building with a relative large choice, all freshly prepared. The lake and the environs are magnificent.
The cottage was fantastic, it had heaps of rustic charm with all the modern luxuries. We had a lovely time walking through the scenic countryside and a cosy night by the fire playing boardgames. The hosts where brilliant and had thought of everything but where on hand should we of needed anything. Lots of personal touches that made our weekend break a truly unforgettable one
Incredible place. Jo and Giles have thought of everything that you might need for a fabulous weekend or even better stay a week. Hot tub and sauna were such a treat and the games room is fantastic (we needed longer to enjoy everything). Kitchen was fully kitted out, and there were so many great little touches in the house like robes and cosy blankets for the lounge. Communication was excellent and we'll be heading back soon.
The cottage has a very warm and cosy feeling to it and it was just a lovely little place to rest up and take in all the scenery. The hot tub was amazing, it felt so luxury and the beautiful views to look out upon made it just that bit more special. The hosts were exceptional and they did everything they could to make our holiday special. We cannot thank you enough and we wish you all the luck with your new venture! X
Fantastic weekend at Hoobrook Cottage! We were pleasantly surprised with the hamper provided, in addition to other facilities. Much thought has gone into this cottage to ensure that you have everything you need for your stay.
Everywhere was clean and rooms all a good size. Massive hot tub which comfortably fit the 5 of us (with room for another 2, easily). Lovely bonus of the log burner for a cosy night in.
Very cozy warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Such a lovely cottage very close to lovely Leek. The owner is charming and so kind and helpful.
