Moriston Cottage, hotel in Kyle of Lochalsh

Moriston Cottage offers accommodations in Lochcarron, 23 miles from Kyle of Lochalsh. This vacation home provides a garden.

Beautiful location, a good base for our activities in the area. The street was pretty quiet, little to no noise at night. Both of us are quite noise-sensitive so this was appreciated. The entertainment/streaming options were nice and easy to figure out. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable. The home was tidy. Parking along the street was never a problem.

A really beautiful place to stay with lovely views looking out to Skye. The accommodation is superb, it’s more like a little holiday cottage than a B&B. It’s very modern, clean and comfy, and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The continental style breakfast which was left in the room was really lovely. Would definitely stay here again when returning to this part of Scotland. Highly recommended.

The flat was cozy and well-fitted, offering a fantastic base to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. The convenience of a fully equipped kitchen and walking distance to the supermarket made our stay even more enjoyable. Free parking was a great perk, and the very comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. We would highly recommend Hector's Bothy Flat for those seeking comfort and a prime location for visiting the Isle of Skye.

It's a very cosy cottage with a fire place which is easy to use. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for 4 people. There's a supermarket in walking distance plus several restaurants if you want to eat out. The location is great to discover Plockton, Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye

The hostel was clean, staff were friendly and easy-going and most importantly a really cosy and homey place to lodge at. Additionally, we realised that we had misplaced a pair of glasses after we left and had to ring them about it. They went the extra mile of posting it back to us in Edinburgh - it was an absolute delight and a testament of their professionalism and customer service. Overall, I've had a great experience being there and would go back again. :)

Very welcoming. Hector had thought to get Christmas treats for under the tree for the kids. It had all the home comforts and so easy to stay in. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was great. Such a cozy place. It was a very special trip and staying in the Bothy made it even more special. It is in the heart of Kyle and the views are spectacular.
