The house was exactly what we needed - spacious, comfortable, close to the center and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. So were the pillows. We rested very well after all the traveling we did during the day. The kitchen is also very well equipped although we didn't have time to use it.

Beautiful property in a peaceful location. This 400 year old house was perfect for our group stay. We used the hot tub which was excellent. The whole house is of outstanding quality and the beds were very comfy.
Marilyn is a wonderful host, and greeted us and showed us around giving tips for local places to eat.
I recommend taking a walk to the Jolly Boatman along the canal, for some lovely food sitting in the sun.

Booked 50 minutes before arrival as our car travel plans turned out different than expected. Incredibly lovely staff. Delicious food both at dinner and at breakfast. Cozy rooms and most importantly a comfortable bed. Would recommend and definitely going to stay there again if we need a bed again in that region.
Excellent food, with a first-rate chef. Charming young staff, efficient and friendly. Super-helpful management (we held our Association's conference there.) Well-appointed bedrooms. Good location. I cannot - literally - recommend Sturdy's Castle too highly.
Gorgeous setting in the middle of a field with lambs playing outside! The hut is perfectly designed and a cosy bolt hole after a hard day’s horse riding.

Charming old inn close to Oxford and to Blenheim Palace. Great breakfast, included in the price. Room was warm and cosy and beds comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bus stop for catching bus to and from Oxford is close by.
