We weren't quite sure what to expect, but the room was excellent value for money. It was clean and tidy, it had all the essentials we needed, and we were very comfortable. The breakfast room is a self-service continental breakfast, and it had everything we required.

The property was exactly like the pictures, fully stocked with cleaning products, toilet paper and very comfortable.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Extremely lovely owners, got us all checked in quickly and were very friendly. After initially getting settled in, they gave us complete privacy (besides popping around for a brief minute to check we were okay with a dog that had come to visit) including drawing the blinds that faced the garden.
Lodge itself was great, very charming, and the outdoor area was perfect for sitting out with a glass of wine in the evening.
This is a true home from home. if you like to be in a cosy friendly location where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside there is no other place to be looking for.
The comfort of the cottage coupled with the facilities and amenities make this an exceptional find. The warm welcome from Paula and her companions Lilly and Hector was wonderful.

Peaceful and beautiful countryside location. Very comfortable, attractive and cosy accommodation and lovely, unexpected touches in terms of breakfast items, toiletries, etc. Very helpful and friendly hosts. We would definitely return if coming to Derbyshire again.
The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, clean and nicely decorated. The location is in the heart of the farm and it was lovely to hear the animals in the morning. The grounds are beautiful and it was an idyllic place to stay
A beautiful, cosy cottage full of charm and history with excellent facilities. Very comfy beds and a spacious, modern bathroom. Beautiful garden and great pub almost next door. We used the cottage as a base for day trips out which worked really well.
The cottage was perfect! So cosy, clean and friendly. The breakfast hamper was well stocked as was the kitchen for any facilities you might need. We took our two dogs who also loved it!
We will definitely be returning! Our daughter has already booked for next year for her and her partner!
