The location was nicely tucked out the way, but in under a mile you could hit the main road and in 15 mins at a beach, perfect! The barn is homely and beautifully decorated, really spacious, especially when you bring dogs. Two things I loved, huge comfy sofa and a superking bed; in most places you’re lucky to get a sofa that seats two, let alone one you can just sink into after a day out. Also has large enclosed garden for the dogs. The hosts were so friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the information pack about the barn, places to visit and eat, amazing. We’ll definitely be returning.

We were lucky to have stayed in the House and in a self catering cottage. Both were nicely decorated, comfortable and it was quiet. Breakfast was delicious. The location was great for us as we could walk along the South Coast past, could stroll down to the Habour, to a nice pub and a cafe looking over Larkstone Cove. A lovely break.
We had a glorious stay in Hillcrest! The bungalow was very well kept and had all the amenities we needed, the little extras were unexpected but a very lovely surprise. The hot tub was very welcomed after a day walking the coastal paths and the garden was just perfect for our little dog.
This is a great place to stay if you'd like to explore North Devon, very comfortable and homely.
