Fabulous property set in lovely grounds. We had loads of space to stretch out in comfort. Excellent communication with the host who was lovely and very helpful. Ideal location for us to visit family in Holmfirth, Halifax and Cleckheaton. Plenty of room for the family to call in to see us.
Such a shame we couldn’t use the hot tub but it was fairly grim weather.
Dining room was lovely to sit in - felt like a grand dinner. Cottage was lovely and warm.

Very warm, friendly welcome from hosts, with a relaxed but very informative approach. All local info excellently provided prior arrival to ensure all domestic needs can be taken care of. Stunning setting with endless water features & seating / viewing areas to help take in the nearby superb countryside. Cleanliness of the property is 2nd to none. Hot tub & Ice bath are additional bonus to this awesome venue. The attention to detail was fantastic, ensuring our stay was totally relaxing & excellent value for money!!
From the moment I landed, communication was brilliant with the hosts, the cottage was exactly like the photos. Extremely cosy and comfortable with absolutely everything you needed. I really enjoyed my week's stay, it was relaxing and peaceful and just what I needed. The cottage was extremely clean and well kept, I would love to book here for future visits back to Huddersfield.
From the minute we checked in, with the friendliest receptionist, who advised us on where to explore with our grandchildren, the lovely ambience of the inn to the cosy cottage we stayed in we had a fabulous stay.
It is the first time we have eaten in an establishment for all our meals. The food was delicious.
Best Yorkshire (English)breakfast ever. Evening meals, very good. 2 fussy grandchildren ate everything on their plates. Good quality ingredients obviously used.
It was perfect for what we needed. We stayed here for 2 nights which was before and on the day of our wedding! The venue was just down the road, so the cottage was idyllic.
The cottage id beautiful and in a nice quiet area.
It has everything you need and is very well equipped.

A lovely cottage in a lovely location. loved that the owners leave a little welcome gift, the welcome pack is full of everything you need to know about the property, takeaway leaflets, things to do etc. there’s books and games if needed. Everything was lovely, couldn’t find fault with anything
